I speak of things i feel, so primordial, that structured expression kills the essence.
I speak of things i see.
so easy to ignore, yet, so crucial
I find release in the seeming disorder of my Poetry; the subtle signs i see.

In my head
He is an open book; but the pages, are blank.
and I;
I always thought,
that I,
could read them all.
@M girl i almost dont want you to love it, because to love it you need to understand what it feels like :| *sigh this June is turning out to be morose, innit?
I thought I'd left a comment here... Anyhow, I'll repeat myself
This is a masterpiece. I'm not half qualified to say it, but I'll say it all the same- This is extreme maturity. The indirect expression (left unuttered) that lies beneath the layer of the more obvious (though equally significant) expression is what makes these lines so priceless.
im surprised at how accurately you caught the essence of it all, minimalism is never my thing, im as eloquent as they come but here, nothing more is necessary i felt.
In that case, you could have tried to fill those pages with your beautiful words, and I am sure you did :)
ReplyDeleteoh.
ReplyDeletei did, but that's all they were 'my words'
the pages are still blank.
"I always thought,
ReplyDeletethat I,
could read them all."
Wow! Extremely profound!
@unsung: Thank you.
ReplyDeleteand your pseudonym is so intriguing!
Hmm. I have some difficulty understanding what you're saying.
ReplyDeleteI was expecting:
He is
an open book,
and the pages
are full
of words
that I cannot read
but I,
I always thought,
that I,
could read them all.
I can't write poetry or comprehend it, for the life of me.
I love this. (as usual?) I love this.
ReplyDeleteNot sure why.
for an open book there are far too less words. How many marks did you get for this assignment? :D
ReplyDelete@orange: if there "were" words, one can at least try,
ReplyDeletebut if the pages are blank,
what then?
what can you do?
its like trying to find meaning in a empty painting.
@M

@DP: i flunked out. :| disgusting, i know.
ReplyDeletebut i'm thinking of giving him a typewriter for his birthday, so maybe there's still hope for me !!! :D
Meghana. Brilliant.
ReplyDelete@meandering mind: Thank you. always nice to hear that. :)
ReplyDeleteAn empty open book, you have,
ReplyDeletewhich you can still try to reach.
Worse yet, is a filled tome,
that you know you can never read.
Excellent piece of work though :)
I thought I'd left a comment here...
ReplyDeleteAnyhow, I'll repeat myself
